Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma
MUST Ontario Security Guard License
MUST Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
MUST Have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history)
Ability to provide a clean drivers abstract
Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time
Ability to complete frequent patrols
Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently)
Excellent customer service and reception skills
The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential
Highly reliable
Work well under pressure
Able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask
Professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak French is consider an asset

Responsibilities

Performing once per shift fire, safety and physical security checks interior and exterior of main depot building.
Conducting once per shift fire, safety and physical security checks of building and magazine exterior doors equipped with a handle that are located within the depot compound.
Roving vehicle patrols during specifically designated timings of the Depot compound interior as a whole.
Ensure strict access control. Check IDs, sign in clients, visitors, and contractors.
Providing escort for all Depot cargo loaded vehicles, when so required, while occupying the Area Compound.
Complete the site reporting requirements.
Ensure all CGL Policies and Procedures are maintained and followed.
Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are followed and maintained.
Other duties as assigned.
