About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to provide overnight security coverage at a secure data center facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security, monitoring access, and ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Must be eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
• Must have been a Canadian resident for the past five (5) consecutive years
• Valid security guard license (as required by provincial regulations)
• A valid First Aid Certificate Required
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
• Ability to work overnight shifts and extended hours (12-hour Sunday shift)
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused in a high-security environment

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to the data center facility
• Conduct regular patrols of the site (interior and exterior)
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
• Enforce site policies and security procedures
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs
• Communicate effectively with site management and emergency services as required
