Part-Time Security Guard-8am-8pm- alternating Weekend Shift
About The Position
This is a Part-Time Non Exempt hourly position. The anticipated salary range is $20.00 per hour. Hiring offers will be determined based on final candidate’s qualifications and experience. The hours offered are alternating weekends 8am-8pm (Sat & Sun). The Part-Time Security is responsible for performing periodic checks of all buildings and grounds to make sure they are secured. Confirm that heat and other mechanical systems are operating. Patrol Cary Institute roadways during assigned hours. Approach visitors as necessary to assure compliance with access policy. Assist with events as needed. Complete written Security report for each shift worked.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must possess a valid current NYS Security License
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Security
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a safety-conscious environment.
- National parks or wildlife experience a plus
Responsibilities
