About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver in San Jose, California. The role serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine patrols at assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This is an unarmed driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and the pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
