About The Position

The Security Guard will monitor plant activity, conduct hourly rounds checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates. They will monitor all associates entering and exiting the building, including car traffic, and operate weight master scales for weighing trailers in and out. This role also involves answering the switchboard after hours, billing loads, and ensuring company policies are followed. The guard will operate company-owned vehicles, inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability, and receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and speak in English
• Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather and up/down stairs
• Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively under stress
• Attention to detail
• Professional attitude
• Ability to work any shift
• Minimum High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Strong computer skills preferred
• Security experience a plus
