About The Position

The Security Guard position is responsible for maintaining the security of Michigan Turkey Producers facilities and properties. This role involves providing access control for all individuals entering the facilities, performing safety control point checks for emergency preparedness, and undertaking other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow directions.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
• Must have good attendance.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with associates, contractors, and the general public.
• Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instruction and express self verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to physically patrol existing premises.
• Must be able to stand, walk or for varying lengths of time.
• Must be able to physically work in adverse conditions.

• Guard experience preferred.
