Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor passes, maintaining entry records, and reporting access discrepancies according to site procedures.
Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems; promptly document and report unusual activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and equipment concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting hazards, damaged barriers, and other security-related concerns.
