About The Position
NTP-Gallatin is actively seeking a dynamic individual for the guard position located in our facility. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Aptitude to learn various computer applications to support the shipment of finished goods.
- Highly detail oriented, organized, and capable of working in a steady-paced environment.
- 3+ years with background in a security guard role.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with all rules, regulations, and company guidelines regarding the safety of visitors and carriers coming onto our facility.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments relating to deliveries and visitor appointments.
- Communicating with loading and receiving crews for timely coordination of incoming and outgoing loads.
