As a Security Guard Full Time Visitor Authorization Driver in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, registering visitors, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe access points, loading areas, and other designated locations for unusual activity, and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
