About The Position

Ponte Vineyard Inn is a Four Diamond, 90 room, boutique hotel located next to Ponte Winery surrounded by 300 acres of mature vineyards and views of rolling hills. We are a short drive from most of Southern California and enjoy hosting folks who want a break from city life. Our guests visit us seeking a relaxing day or overnight stay in the country. We have become the benchmark for great service among Temecula wineries. Our associates are dedicated to delighting guests by providing excellent hospitality and serving great wine and food in a beautiful environment. The Property Security Guard will greet the guests and make them feel welcome as they enter the hotel and Cellar bar. Protect the hotel, its guests, and associates from personal injury, and from loss or damage of property.

Requirements

Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
Maintain a current California Guard card requirement.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
1-year private security experience required.
Has attention to detail.
Must have excellent communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Must have exceptional grooming standards that are consistent with company guidelines.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout their shift.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Ability to walk and run unaided for specific distances.
Must be able to work up to 8 hours per shift.
Must have basic computer knowledge, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Previous Military or Law Enforcement service a plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Current CPR/First Aid certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a smile and respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Respond to guest, hotel requests and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
Continuously patrol and inspect hotel property.
Pro-actively report all suspicious occurrences or safety concerns to Management.
Maintain orderly and safe conduct of guests while on property.
Assist or direct the investigation of suspected theft or misconduct of associates and guests.
Investigate damage to property.
Follow lost and found procedures and ensure guest property is properly secured.
Be familiar with emergency procedures, and provide calm, reassuring assistance to guests and fellow associates in the event of an emergency.
Complete all logs & reports completely & legibly Inspect various sections of the property to ensure safety.
Make sure the property’s occupancy does not exceed maximum capacity.
Inspect the identification of patrons to prevent underage individuals from entering as well as monitor entrances and exits and ensure that individuals who have been barred do not enter the establishment.
Resolve conflicts and restrain anyone who gets into a fight, takes care of patrons' welfare.
Report all illegal activities & hazards to Management
Perform any other tasks as requested by Management.
