About The Position

Responsible for monitoring, documenting, and controlling the flow of traffic entering and exiting the company property. Responsible for ensuring employees and visitors are within compliance with MSHA regulations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must hold a valid non-commercial driver’s license.
  • Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner.
  • Knowledge of principles for providing strong customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in adverse working conditions such as heat, wet, cold, noise, etc.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all employees, visitors, contractors, etc. at the entrance of the company property.
  • Monitor, authorize, and document entrance and departure of employees, visitors, contractors, and other individuals on the property.
  • Direct traffic in the appropriate direction on company property.
  • Ensure trucks are travelling the correct route.
  • Write reports of any activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Follow protocol for notifying appropriate parties if an irregular situation occurs.
  • Ensure all employees, visitors, and contractors remain in compliance with safety regulations in accordance with MSHA and company policies while on company property.
  • Conduct site-specific training for individuals who visit company property for the first time.
  • Ensure all necessary and required paperwork is completed, prior to entering, by individuals visiting company property and maintain paperwork in compliance with company and MSHA procedures.
  • Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.
  • Comply with MSHA regulations.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
