About The Position

We are currently seeking a Security Guard to join our team! If you are looking to make a difference, we’d love to talk to you! This Security Guard oversees and maintains the overall safety and security of residents, team members, visitors and buildings in the community. We are seeking a very special candidate for this important role!

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions and converse in English
Valid driver's license with a clean background
Must be able to relate to the needs and concerns of senior adults

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service setting as security or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

Makes repeated security and safety rounds inside and outside of community buildings
Follows security schedules and job routines
Clearly & concisely communicates in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner with all residents, visitors, & team members
Quickly, accurately, and appropriately interprets and responds to resident’s urgent care needs and dispatch appropriate response(s) to calls for assistance
Uses personal computers and programs tied to the campus emergency response system
Works in conjunction with SARA system
Uses equipment daily including vehicles, radios, computers, carts, phones, computers
Complies with infection control regulations, guidelines, and policies
Assists in in-servicing relating to security such as fire drills, emergency evacuation
Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
