About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Concierge Security Officer to join their team. This role focuses on customer service, building meaningful connections, and engaging with people in various environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position is located in Fredericksburg, VA, at an Insurance Headquarters Building.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
2 years of Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience
You have a state license if required
You have CPR/First Aid
You have computer literacy and phone skills
Must have access control and customer service experience
You are at least 21 years of age due to contractual agreements
You have an active DCJS License
You have the ability to provide great customer service
You have access control and customer service experience

Responsibilities

Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
Manage access control
Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Answer questions in person or by phone
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Computer skill (outlook, visitor management, and access control)
Work in the lobby and required to do walking patrols, in addition to vehicle patrols
