This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government court location.
- Screen visitors, staff, and/or delivered items using approved screening equipment and established entry procedures while helping to identify prohibited items.
- Monitor entrances, guide visitors through the check-in and screening process, and respond to questions in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around designated public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations as assigned, with duties varying by site conditions.
