About The Position

The Security Guard maintains a controlled facility/environment, under the supervision of the Security Manager. Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly. Responding to emergencies and ensuring that all protocols are followed.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, or equivalent
• 3 or more years of relevant Security Guard experience
• Knowledge of computer applications
• Must possess a valid driver's license to drive, insurance and motor vehicle report
• Able to rover between facility locations
• Able sit, stand, lift and/or move up to 25lbs
• Daily uses of hands, fingers to handle objects, tools or controls

Responsibilities

• Patrol facilities, monitor, operate, and maintain any and all security surveillance equipment (i.e. closed circuit televisions, alarm system, etc.)
• Inform the proper personnel/authorities in an emergency and take appropriate action.
• Maintain a complete daily log and incident reports.
• Check all visitors in and out, making sure employees have the proper I.D. and company badges when necessary.
• Make sure any and all items belonging to BIOQUAL, Inc. have the proper authorization before being allowed to leave the premises.
• Handle any unauthorized assembly or meeting on company property.
• Monitor the switchboard overnight.
• Consistently adhere to all safety procedures and standard operating procedures which are essential for successful operation of a facility involved with bio-hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
