About The Position

We are seeking a diligent Security Guard to join our team at a large senior living community at Park Lane. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve. Our Security guard is the first line of protection for our residents overnight. They are tasked to man the front desk as well as be there to aid and help where needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
Trained security officer with diploma
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
Integrity and professionalism
Background and Drug test administered once job is offered

Responsibilities

Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for use by leadership
Report in detail (verbally and in written form) any suspicious incidents
Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
