About The Position

Mint Cannabis is seeking a Security Guard to support multiple locations in Phoenix, AZ. This floating position requires vigilance, professionalism, and a calm presence to protect facilities, employees, and patients. The ideal candidate enjoys variety, is comfortable traveling between assigned locations, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with state cannabis regulations.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of security experience required; retail, event, facility, or cannabis security experience preferred.
Reliable transportation is required, as this is a floating position supporting multiple Mint Cannabis locations.
Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card.
A positive, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

Conduct perimeter checks and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
Monitor entrances, exits, and facility access to ensure only authorized personnel and customers are on-site.
Enforce all security protocols, company policies, and state cannabis compliance requirements.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary.
Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and helping staff and patients feel at ease.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities.
Travel between assigned Mint Cannabis locations to provide security coverage and operational support.
