About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Guards respond calmly and helpfully to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
