About The Position

Join our Event Security team in Barrie! We are currently hiring professional and reliable Security Guards for event-based assignments. Successful candidates will work at festivals, sporting events, community gatherings, cultural celebrations, and public functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Candidates must have flexible availability and be willing to work days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and short-notice coverages.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
First aid certification required
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
Strong problem-solving skills
Must be reliable, punctual, and team oriented

Nice To Haves

Previous event security or access control experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Perform access control duties including credential checks, and monitoring entry/exit points
Monitor restricted, backstage, and staff-only areas
Patrol assigned event areas to maintain safety and security
Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
Assist with crowd management and line control
Enforce venue policies, event rules, and safety procedures
Provide professional customer service to members of the public and event staff
Complete incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and event personnel
