About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Guard and patrol driver supporting an aerospace and defense-related location in Liverpool, New York, you will help safeguard people, property, and critical operations. The role includes driving patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors. The stated pay rate is $23.49 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess an active New York State Security Guard License.
Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site requirements.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and promptly notify appropriate site contacts of security concerns.
