About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time Backside Security Guards to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As Backside Security team members, you will work under the Security Manager, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, in accordance with West Virginia Gaming Commission and applicable operational standards. Requirements

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Able to be licensed by state gaming commission
• Highly motivated and takes initiative
• Team-oriented; ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Operate a motor vehicle when necessary

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and regulations of the local gaming commission
• Adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
• Report any incidents, following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and report any procedural violations and illegal activity
• Fill out departmental log forms, verifying all paperwork is complete and turned in at the conclusion of shifts
• Process guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations, and communicate with guests sensitively and with care
• Operate Motor Vehicle when necessary
