Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report irregular conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting observations accurately.
Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with building management, employees, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
