This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activities.
- Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying emergency services when directed.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
