About The Position

The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of staff, clients, merchandise, and the overall store environment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in high-touch customer service, alert, and calm under pressure, with prior experience in luxury retail or hospitality settings.

Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card required.
• 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or corporate security (luxury or high-end environment preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed and observant in dynamic environments.

Nice To Haves

• First Aid/CPR certification and/or firearms permit is a plus (but not required).

Responsibilities

• Monitor the entrance and sales floor to deter theft, prevent loss, and provide a visible security presence.
• Greeting clients and guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Support the store team in managing foot traffic, especially during high-volume periods or private events.
• Maintain a strong awareness of the store's layout, exits, and emergency procedures.
• Respond swiftly and discreetly to any disturbances or security concerns.
• Document any incidents clearly and accurately; liaise with store leadership and law enforcement if needed.
• Conduct opening and closing security checks of the store as needed.
