Security Guard
About The Position
Dental Dreams LLC is hiring a registered, experienced, and vigilant Security Guard / Officer to maintain safety and order at its dental clinic facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. The role involves security and safety-related functions to safeguard employees, visitors, patients, and physicians, and to monitor the premises to prevent violence and violations of rules. Requirements
- Minimum age of 21.
- Ability to stand or walk for an extended period.
- High school graduation, evidenced by a diploma or GED equivalency certificate.
- Practical written and verbal communication skills.
- At least two years of previous security or security-related experience, such as law enforcement or military service.
- State-issued Security Guard Card.
- Familiarity with SOP and crisis protocol.
- Basic CPR and first aid knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinic entry and exit activity.
- Report hazardous activities to management.
- Take appropriate action to control emergencies or hazards.
- Report complaints and violations of clinic regulations to the local police department.
- Respond immediately to emergency codes as a first responder and follow established procedures once on scene.
