About The Position
Parkwest Casino is hiring a Security Guard to help provide a safe environment for the casino, employees, and guests. The role calls for keen observation skills, a basic understanding of card room games, and strong customer service across different personalities and cultures. Security Guards are expected to work any shift and be available for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS guard card).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
- Evidence of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the security of the casino, employees, and guests.
- Operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
- Write accurate, detailed reports.
- Count chips with a limited number of mistakes.
- Provide a high level of guest service.
