About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring a Full-Time Security Officer for a consistent Monday through Friday Second Shift (2:00PM-10:00PM). This is a permanent, non-rotating schedule — ideal for dependable individuals seeking stable second shift hours. The role involves providing a professional security presence, patrolling premises, monitoring access points, and staying alert for suspicious activity. Officers will respond to emergencies, enforce site policies, and complete accurate incident reports. The work environment may involve encounters with local wildlife, requiring officers to remain calm, alert, and professional.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
• Comfortable with wildlife that may inhabit the property
• Flexible availability for extended shifts if client needs require
• Must pass a mandatory background check

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
• Ability to detect suspicious tail flicks
• Confidence during “gang dispersal” operations (also known as walking toward them firmly)
• Resisting the urge to assign nicknames to repeat offenders

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional security presence at the assigned client site
• Patrol premises and monitor access points
• Stay alert for any suspicious activity
• Observe and report safety or security concerns
• Respond to emergencies and enforce site policies and procedures
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports using Belfry Software
• Maintain communication with clients, supervisors, and fellow officers
• Follow all company and site-specific security protocols
