As a Security Guard Dispatch Driver in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. In this driving post, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a utility location.
  • Monitor dispatch systems, phones, radios, alarms, and/or camera feeds to identify issues and communicate timely information to appropriate contacts and responding personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate security-related and emergency-related communications across the location.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, documenting security-related activity, status updates, and/or unusual conditions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, while also supporting dispatch operations and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
