About The Position

The Security Guard protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The role also serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring people on the property follow safety protocols. This is a full-time position in Noti, Oregon, paying $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. No prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Control access at security entrances and exits.
Conduct regular patrols of premises, including buildings, parking lots, and entry points, to identify potential security risks.
Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
