Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and/or entry and exit monitoring at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor gates, docks, lobbies, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, damaged barriers, open doors, and/or other conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Complete routine reports and logs related to access activity, deliveries, visitor traffic, and incident observations while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
