About The Position
As a Security Guard - Driver for Cemetery in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate for a memorial park location.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related matters according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor entrances, public gathering areas, and/or restricted spaces to help support authorized access, respectful conduct, and adherence to location rules and expectations.
- Assist with directions, wayfinding, and general visitor support during services, events, and/or periods of increased traffic while maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting concerns as needed.
