About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Badge Support in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document security-related activities. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying emergency services and/or site contacts as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and on-site personnel.
