About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Guard to support a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, reporting observations, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff. The role follows site-specific security procedures and policies and may involve emergency response activities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to property procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations and actions taken, and communicate with management and emergency responders as needed.
