About The Position

Harvard Protection Services is seeking Security Officers to provide best-in-class security and life safety services. Our Officers are responsible for delivering professional, customer-focused security and life safety services to protect people and property. This role involves providing coverage during FIFA World Cup Events, requiring open scheduling availability for rotating shifts.

Requirements

Open scheduling availability to work on game days for the FIFA World Cup Event (7:00am - 3:00pm / 3:00pm - 11:00pm / 11:00pm - 7:00am).
Personal transportation (public transportation is not reliable in the area).
A security guard license (SORA License).
Reliable means of communication and transportation.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Neat and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Providing coverage during FIFA World Cup Events with open scheduling availability for 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, and 11:00pm - 7:00am shifts.
Maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
Monitoring the environment for suspicious and unsafe activity.
Becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic and recognizing customers, tenants, visitors, and guests.
Greeting customers, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests professionally.
Answering all phones professionally.
Permitting authorized persons to enter property and monitoring entrances and exits.
Enforcing facility/building policies and procedures within the limits of the position.
Performing required patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
Observing departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property.
Following established emergency action planning and procedures.
Monitoring alarms and systems.
Preparing reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed.
