As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned school district areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, playgrounds, athletic areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, and vehicle activity; report suspicious conditions, hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.
