As a Security Guard Badge Patrol Driver in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare collection center environment.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of activity involving donors, staff, deliveries, and vendors.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
