About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Field Checks in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a leading technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of data center buildings, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas; verify credentials and follow established entry and escort procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations and following site escalation protocols.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in accordance with site procedures.
