About The Position

Armorous is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for a winery production facility in Healdsburg, California. The officer helps safeguard the property, deter criminal activity, control access, and keep the site secure. Two officers are scheduled per shift, and they rotate between managing gate access and conducting a facility patrol, and monitoring camera systems and clearing motion-activated alerts. The assignment includes overnight shifts, Saturday through Wednesday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, for 40 hours per week. Compensation is $21.00 per hour.

The role requires conducting regular patrols, preventing unauthorized access, monitoring for safety hazards and property concerns, responding to incidents, and completing accurate shift reports. Patrols take approximately two hours and cover indoor and outdoor areas. Depending on assignment, officers may also monitor cameras covering the local site and other company facilities, review alerts, and document activity requiring follow-up.

Requirements

• Valid BSIS Guard Card.
• Current BSIS compliance, including an 8-hour Initial Training Certificate and 32-hour continuing education certificates.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company or site vehicles safely.
• Availability to work the assigned overnight schedule; the posting gives Saturday through Wednesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and also lists availability Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand or walk continuously for up to 60 minutes and cumulatively up to six hours per shift.
• Ability to sit continuously for up to 60 minutes and cumulatively up to six hours per shift, depending on assigned duty.
• Ability to perform foot patrols indoors and outdoors, including on stairs, ramps, parking areas, and uneven terrain.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and enter or exit a vehicle as needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience.
• Prior security experience, particularly in access control or camera monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
