As a Security Guard Full Time Property Patrol in Concord, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries; verify credentials and follow site procedures for reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
