About The Position
Conifer Park is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard for its Outpatient clinic in Schenectady. The role involves maintaining and monitoring facility security, exercising good judgment and discretion, and upholding confidentiality. Responsibilities include assisting clinical and nursing staff with patient behavioral interventions, documenting security checks and incidents, monitoring facility cameras, and assisting with patient searches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current NYS Security Guard License
- 1 year of pertinent experience
- Valid NYS Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor security throughout the facility according to procedure.
- Exercise good judgment and discretion.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Assist clinical and nursing departments with patients that need behavioral interventions in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
- Provide a detailed report of all areas checked outside and inside the facility, and calls for service and infraction of safety and security policies at the end of each shift.
- Monitor all facility cameras and report any significant findings.
- Assist the admission and clinical departments with patient personal searches and luggage searches.
