As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a rehabilitation healthcare location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving situations while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
