Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or public sector personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues observed during assigned duties.
• Assist with directions, general information, and crowd management during routine operations, peak travel periods, and/or service disruptions while maintaining a professional presence.
