As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, with duties varying based on location needs.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, helping to deter disruptive behavior and supporting a professional environment.
• Assist with access control, direct foot traffic, and communicate with airport personnel, public agency representatives, and/or emergency responders as needed.
