As a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through mobile patrol activity, strong communication, and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, offer directions and assistance to visitors and staff, and help to support orderly operations throughout the location.
  • Communicate with site contacts, transit personnel, and/or first responders when appropriate regarding incidents, policy concerns, and changing conditions at the location.
