About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Baton certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public agency representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support order at the location by providing directions, assisting with visitor processing, and following post orders for alarms, emergencies, and/or other security-related concerns.
