As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required, and document observations, incidents, and shift activity in a clear and timely manner.
  • Support site personnel during drills, evacuations, and/or restricted-area activities by communicating directions, relaying information, and reporting conditions that may require additional response.
