Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
• Support a professional environment by providing clear directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related issues and/or incidents.
