As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bay City, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, business locations, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and delivery activity, and report maintenance, lighting, or other property concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, answering questions, and supporting a welcoming retail environment.
