Our Allied Universal professionals at a leading financial institution location monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Possess 3 or more years of experience in security-related roles, law enforcement, military police, and/or military service.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and following site reporting guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or visitor authorizations as directed, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
• Support staff and visitors with directions, general assistance, and communication during routine operations and/or during disruptions, alarms, or other security-related events.
