About The Position

As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. You will use clear communication and technology to document security-related activity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
Monitor and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.
